Sea container transportations of cargoes and their cost in 2010 will increase to 8 %.

Under the forecast of group of companies A. P. Moeller-Maersk A/S, the market of container transportations of cargoes after falling this year will return to the lifting in the future 2010. Simultaneously with increase of a turn of containers, can as well will increase tariffs for transportation of containers by the sea, in connection with reduction of the tonnage of many companies on sea transportation of container cargoes.

As has declared in the interview to agency Bloomberg, the general director of a battalion on container transportations of company Maersk Line of E.Kolding, «… most likely, next year volume of transportations of cargoes in containers in the company will increase from 3 to 8 percent. Recently in the world container market stability that is appreciable by increase in volumes of sea transportations of container cargoes is planned. But together with it many companies start to raise tariffs for transportation of containers to avoid large financial losses following the results of a year. But, even this lifting of volume of container transportations, will not give any of 25 largest world companies to finish this fiscal year with any profit».

As marks SeaNews, the majority of operators of the container market have already noticed growth of transportations in 3 sq. 2009 and assert, that decrease in volumes of container transportations which occurred from the beginning of world financial crisis, has completely stopped. But to reach volumes of transportations to crisis, 2008, in case of favorable succession of events in the container market, the minimum is required two years still.
