News International container traffic from "Marine-Trans Ltd"

The civil-engineering design of the container terminal in sea port Odessa prepares.

As the chief of the Odessa sea transport port N.Pavljuk has informed, the civil-engineering design of the new container terminal will be already ready in August of current year. He also has explained to the press, that building of this container platform for the city of Odessa and all southern region of Ukraine is very necessary.

This necessity is connected by that the structure of modern port constructions and harbors creates some technical complexities for pilots at factory of a large-capacity vessel a carrier of containers (length more than 300 m.) to a mooring.

Also there is also an economic party of a question of building - if not to start to carry out the given project there is a high probability of that after the termination of world crisis transport ways with container cargoes will move from Ukraine to the Black Sea ports of the countries of Europe and Russia.

Also the chief of port has noticed, that the container terminal in Odessa can be constructed for two years, but cannot name a real date started of creation of new economic object as the Ministry of transport and communication of Ukraine do not carry out orders of the Prime minister of Ukraine J.Timoshenko, about necessity to solve all technical questions which are directly connected with building of the most container terminal.
