The container terminal in Odessa will increase the throughput.

In the Odessa port, on end of the tender for increase in capacities of the container terminal at 600 thousand TEU in a year, the winner - the present operator of the terminal, branch of German company Hamburg Port Consulting GmbH "GPK Ukraine" was defined.

The international investments at the rate about 307 million dollars, will be directed on building of moorings (total length about 600 m.), for reception of sea container vessels and warehouse territories for responsible storage of container cargoes; building of internal transport ways and acquisition of the new process equipment for an overload from vessels of containers and their transportation on terminal territory.

Also about 3 million dollars of investments will arrive in the city budget of Odessa on arrangement of a city beach and reconstruction of a city collector.
