As it became known, the Israeli carrier of container cargoes company ZIM Integrated Shipping Services, since July, 1st, 2009 has entered the additional, so-called bunker extra charge for transportation of containers through the international ports of the black sea (including ports Odessa and Ilyichevsk). The given extra charge for transportation of containers ZIM enters because of too big rise in prices for bunker fuel in the European ports, and she will be equaled 75$/TEU.

As informs SeaNews, bunker gathering, will be raised on container lines connecting the countries of the Indian pool and South East Asia with the European ports Black and Mediterranean sea and the sum of gathering, will be monthly reconsidered.

Bunker gathering at container transportation of cargoes will not act in film when BAF is counted up separately from the charter rate or is changeable size. If by transportation by the sea of container cargoes BAF is a constant or it is included in the charter rate in this case for container transportation the additional extra charge will be raised.
