Cost of transportation of containers on a route Asia-Europe from COSCON.

According to SeaNews, the Chinese company on transportation of containers COSCON, declared, that since January, 15th, 2010, cost increases by container transportation: standard 20 ’ on $300 and 40 ’ on $600. The given increase in cost of transportation of the container will operate on transportation of containers from ports of Pacific ocean, including Japan, and from ports of India and Pakistan.

Increase of cost of transportation of containers will concern those cargoes, which have been shipped in Pacific and Indo-Pakistan ports to ports of Mediterranean sea (Syria, Israel, Lebanon), the Northern-western Europe and Black sea, including Odessa and Ilyichevsk.
