Change leaders international container shipping container in the Ukrainian market

Rather the data from the "Golden container 2008"-Ukrainian rating international maritime container carriers. Rating recently summed up their outcome on container lines in Ukrainian ports.
According to the rating of container traffic in the Ukrainian market of three leaders carriers led:
- 1 place led French carrier CMA CGM (14.3 per cent of the total transshipment containers in Ukrainian ports);
- 2 place – Danish airline Maersk Line (14% of total transport containers);
- 3 have Israeli company ZIM (11.3 per cent of the total transshipments containers).
The French were able to escape from third to first place by volumes of transshipment containers at 12 per cent to 178,9 thou. TEU and replacing with first place leaders 2007 Danes from Maersk Line, who were able to complete the 2008 buck container traffic at 20 per cent to 175,2 thousand TEU.
Also rating announced that in the past year also continued the trend to reduce the participation of major leading container carriers in the Ukrainian market of container services. According to analysis, in 2007, the turnover of the leading lines ranged from 13 to 20 per cent in 2008, the cargo leaders was only 11-14.3%.
This is that some of the largest lines in the reporting year showed reduced transport containers: MSC, has changed its 2nd place on the 4th, reducing their freight turnover in Ukraine on 17% (up to 137,5 thousand TEU). However, this company got their results through CSAV Norasia to fifth place and EMES, respectively.
Simultaneously with the drop in traffic from market leaders, strengthened their positions the company small lines. Because of this increased traffic from small container lines respectively fell volume containers from 15 main, most large carriers: in 2007, the quantities in the Ukrainian container market were 96.2 per cent and in 2008 decline to 84%.
